Dick nods a bit, smiling to reassure her.  ”I’m sure that is how it’ll work out.  I’m possitive we’ll find everyone that we seemed to have forgotten…”  He rubs her head a bit, messing up that hair of hers.  In a family fashion of course.  Yes.  Mun is being creepy oops.

Dick also thought ti was cute that she was crying.  She’s growing up…my baby gurl’s growin up….

“—The graveyard?”  He just looks at her as he’s being tugged towards that direction.  ”Dead bodies you say?” So..Utsuho made up a friend..who was into necrophilia..welp…I guess whatever floated her boat??  ”Well then…I guess that would be our first place to check!”

“It’s stupid that we have forgotten them! I mean, there shouldn’t be any reason to forget about people that are supposedly important to us.” Utsuho may be stupid, but there were some things that she thought lacked any logic. Maybe all of this shit was just life’s mystery and shouldn’t be questioned…As much of a pain that sounded like, she might as well just deal with it and carry on. —When he ruffled her hair, she huffed a little bit, not quite sure on if she even liked that comforting gesture or not.

Luckily, she had no idea her brother thought her crying was cute, that’s one complaint someone will be living without.

Nodding her head, she began to explain what she could remember about Orin. “She carried these bodies around you see, it was part of her job. I can’t remember what it was for exactly.” That probably didn’t make that whole necrophilia thing sound any better…Oops. Once they had arrived to the graveyard, Utsuho let go of Dick’s arm and scanned her surroundings before walking around. As many times as she checked behind the gravestones and the trees she couldn’t find Orin.

“Oriiiiinnnn! Heyyyy!! I know you have to be here!!” Why was she even shouting? She only got silence for an answer.

firstboywonder:

Dick looks down at her—he can’t help it if he’s taller than her.  She’s right too.  He sees everyone else—mostly everyone else still has their parents, yet here he is with his two younger siblings..acting like the parent.  What ever did happen to theirs? “Awww Utsuuuuuuso I know you’re not crazy…I believe you.  Don’t worry…”  He doesn’t let her go nope he loves Kawaii desu family moments like this way too much.  ”I’m sure that is exactly right.  Just like..our parents…”  He hugs her tighter, still curious as to why he can’t remember anything.

He smiles back down at her—-Welp okay..sure…maybe she was an imaginary friend!?!?  That must be it.  ”Of course it would be hard to miss someone like that!!  I’m sure we’ll find her in an instant!”  Such a dazzeling smile too

What had happened to their parents? That was another thing that she always wondered, and she never put too much thought to it, except for now. One of the times that she was in a deep state of confusion she wasn’t entirely sure what was reality, and what wasn’t. Who knew, maybe this was just a dream. Taking a deep breath, she tried to keep herself calm before losing it. “So if I’m seeing her, maybe our parents would show themselves too?” Or not.

At this point, she had pretty much found herself actually crying. It shouldn’t be upsetting, none of this should be. Her pathetic state was an embarrassment to herself. Through all of this, she managed to speak, her tone wavering.

“I think…Maybe she’d be at the graveyard? She had dead bodies so she might be there!!” She tore herself away from Dick and grabbed his arm, tugging him in the direction of the graveyard.

firstboywonder:

Dick is not surprised that she came to him for that hug.  She seemed pretty upset and Grayson was just the big brother to be such an awesome big brother what am I typing anymore.

“Shh it’s alright right Utsuho…”  He wraps an arm around her and gently pets her head.  She was really shaken up it seemed.  Of course Utsuho would never cry in front of him or anyone else.  She was way too prideful for that.  So He’ll just let her stay in his arms, crying there.  ”I don’t ever remember an Orin in your life though Utsuho…”  He furrows his eyebrows a bit, looking a bit thoughtful.  Utsuho was talking about someone he has never met before, but she claimed to know them all her life?  And What about Dick’s new obsession with bats—and seeing a man dressed as a bat just jumping from roof to roof?  He sighs and pulls her closer.

“I’m sure…we’ll find her..This Orin. Alright?”

“W..What do you mean?! She was my only friend!! I’m not joking. I..I don’t think we saw each other very often, but she was still a friend.” Okuu babbled on, her mind was set on the fact that she did know the peculiar red-haired female. There wouldn’t be any other reasoning for it. Though, she couldn’t help but wonder how she—or Dick forgot about someone that looked pretty unforgettable. Did something happen? She couldn’t figure this out, it hurt to think this much sometimes. “Maybe she’s like our parents, you know. We cant remember them at all, right?”

Glancing up at her elder sibling, she gave him a look begging him not to think that she was crazy. Okay, so she was crazy but not crazy enough to think she knew some random girl!! “—We will..? Great!! She just has to be around here somewhere. It isn’t hard to miss someone with cat ears and two tails!!” Wow okay maybe Dick will think she’s crazy.

firstboywonder:

Dick jumped a bit, hearing someone soundig upset?! His sibling senses were tingling that was for sure.  So what does a good big brother do?  Go look to see if one of his sisters was alright!!  Though something did seem odd to him.  He pinches the bridge of his nose, in order to keep this weird feeling of deja vu from his head.  He kept on seeing…well bats.  It was so weird.  He shakes his head of the feeling and looks around for a troubled sister.

And he found one.  Utsuho of course.  He slowly walks up to her, face full of concern.

“Hey..Utsuho..are you alright?  You look like you’re about to cry….”  He has a hand outstretched, inviting her for a hug.  Come on you know you want to hug him.  ”Did someone hurt you??”

No, she never cried! Everyone that did know her, knew her as the boastful type that always self proclaimed how powerful she was! Even if she thought back to her childhood memories she never cried, even if she felt like she should. Her tears were always fought back, even at this very moment. Her friend, her only friend suddenly came to mind, made an appearance and left within seconds.

Turning to her older brother, she stared at him silently. “N..No! No one hurt me. They would be on the ground wounded if so. It’s just…” She stepped over to him and embraced him, burying her head in his chest. An unusual thing for her to do, but perhaps it was an attempt to hide the fact that she was actually crying. “I just..Remembered a good friend, one that had been with me throughout my whole life..Why am I suddenly remembering them now? Haha, it makes no sense. They only told me to work, but they left before I could talk to her again…Do you know who Orin is..? Do you know where she had gone?”

“‘Ey, Okuu, we gotta get back to work.”

There was a voice, one that was calling out from behind her shortly after the bell had rung. Utsuho, who had suspected nothing more than a normal day yet again was going to get an abrupt awakening. —The name she was called was a nickname that no one really wanted to call her, even if it was preferred by herself. Then who in the right mind would call her that? The voice sounded familiar, but she couldn’t put a face or name to it. Slowly, she found herself turning around to stare face to face with the one that had spoken out to her.

“…”

In front of the brunette, there stood a girl with cat ears, two tails and bright red hair that was neatly braided and held with green bows that matched her dress. With her, there was a wheelbarrow of some sort, with dead bodies collected in it. Utsuho stared, her red eyes wide as she tried to process what was going on right in front of her. Then, in that instant she remembered who the cat girl was..They were her friend, her only friend. Rin Kaenbyou, or Orin as she called her.

“O..Orin..?!”

Her voice squeaked as she ecstatically began to make her way over to Orin. Work, yes she had to get to work! After all, she had cut out from doing that after doing…something? She couldn’t quite recall what had happened, the memories felt as if they were tucked away in her brain.  As Orin turned her back, and Utsuho ran as fast as her legs could carry her to reach the other. Unfortunately, as soon as she approached, her friend had disappeared.

This had left her standing completely alone in the middle of the sidewalk. What had just happened? Where did she go? She couldn’t make any sense out of this at all!! For once, Utsuho had truly felt lonely, and upset.

“H..Hey..! Orin…! ORIN!!”

mayor-sama:

The bell in town hall chimes. Sound echoes throughout the town, an unmistakable ring. Each citizen pauses in midst of their ordinary lives. No, the sound isn’t something new, but for some reason it causes a sense of familiarity in the brain. A few seconds later, and they all return to normal. However, a change has been made and it is noticeable in the smallest of ways.

This is our first event! The bell chime causes citizens to recall their past lives. For now, it’s a very small sense of deja vuu. They might see images, hear voices, or accidentally forget where they are and who they are. This chime in particular allows the rembrance of the most important person in your character’s life. Who this person is up to you, but remember it can only be one person. This memory will be especially effective for this week, but will also continue in a dimmer form from now on.

Hope you guys have fun with it!

inforapound:

It’s 4 pm. Balthazar’s just gotten off work and he’s flagging. The buzz from his lunchtime coffee (watery and terrible) is wearing off fast, but at least he doesn’t have anything else to do today.

He’d love to go home and sleep—god knows he hasn’t slept for more than three hours solid since big brother Lucifer moved in, but that’s just it. Lucifer’s undoubtedly home by now, sullying Balthazar’s stereo system with whatever tripe he’s fallen into this time and singing along at the top of his lungs. Christ.

Maybe he shouldn’t have broken up with his last girlfriend—her flat had been like an oasis. He’d feel bad abandoning Castiel, but he’s only human. He’s being run into the ground, at home and at work, and he needs peace. He rubs his temples in irritation. Maybe he’ll rent out a hotel room for a few days, kidnap Cassie in the dead of the night while Lucifer is sleeping and just disappear for a while. A vacation sounds lovely.

He has obligations at work, though, so he can’t just drop off the map without notice.

So he does the next best thing—heads to his favourite bar. Honestly it’s more of a lounge—expensive liquor, pretentious jazz, leather chairs worth more than the people sitting in them, but he likes that. It’s generally pretty peaceful and the lady behind the counter likes him and knows his name (along with his favourite brand of underwear).

He orders two fingers of obscenely expensive whiskey and makes himself comfortable. Cas will get mad if he comes home drunk, but honestly, who would blame him?

For this teenager, she had nothing better to do than to spend her time at the bar. It really wasn’t a place she normally found herself hanging out at, and she wasn’t there for the alcoholic beverages either. It was mostly for the food, seeing that she was always hungry after school and couldn’t be bothered enough with going all the way home to cook something—which ended up burnt most of the time. The atmosphere of the bar was relaxing, much to her surprise.

Though it didn’t matter where she ended up, she was usually alone anyways. Save for her family, she never interacted with people that much for whatever reason. Either someone didn’t interest her, or they ignored her due to her mostly loud nature. Today, it seemed a bit different as she was seated next to a stranger. Looking at him from the corner of her eye, she decided to turn her head and look at him.

“Hey, what’s up?”

Giving him quite the friendly smile, she hoped that it didn’t make him turn his head and not reply to her. All she wanted was just a casual conversation, nothing more than that. It didn’t matter if a completely random topic was brought up, she just wanted someone to talk to.

“I haven’t seen you around here before—Then again, you must spend a lot of your time at work…Or whatever grown-ups do in there spare time, ahaha!”

spaceywitch:

Jade was working her tail off in the garden, a satisfied smile on her face, singing softly. Adjusting her sun hat, she wiped some sweat off of her forehead. Nothing made her happier than working in the garden. Not even school work or going to target practice. It was her, the ground, sun, and solitude. She was at peace.

The garden was one of those places that Utsuho hardly went to, despite it being right in the backyard. Utsuho figured that maybe today she’d change that..Dick did say she needed to do something else other than blowing up the kitchen, and burning things. Besides, there couldn’t be any harm done in spending time with her younger sister as well, since that was another thing she never really did. She really wasn’t good with this stuff at all.

Anyways, she stepped out into the garden and approached the younger girl. “Hey Jade!!” She greeted, putting on a cheerful demeanor. “Need any help around here?”

soundcirculates:

The chime went unnoticed as Luka busied herself with cleaning; none of her co-workers seemed to realized that in order to serve incoming customers, the tables would need to be cleared and cleaned. She balanced a tray of finished meals and empty glasses with one hand, the other wiping off the last bit of grime from the table she was at and made her way towards the counter, when she heard the sound of a voice. Odd, usually she would have known if someone came into the cafe.

“Welcome! I work here, yes,” she motioned towards the counter and placed the tray over onto the other side, carefully so that there would be no chance of them falling to the ground. Luka needed this job on top of filing books away at the library, and there was no way that she would lose the job because of clumsiness.

“What can I help you with?”

“Oh, great!”

The brunette grinned as she was responded to, as she was thankful that she didn’t already make a mistake just by asking a simple question. Now all that mattered was getting a job..It didn’t matter who she spoke with in order to get an application thing, right? She pondered a bit on that.

“Well you see, I’ve been wanting to get a job, since there’s nothing I can do around here,” Utsuho had begun to explain. “So, I figured I’d try to get a job here. I don’t know if you’re even the right person to talk to but…Uh, would you be willing to help me out?” Scratching the back of her head, she glanced about hoping that she’d get an answer of some sort. Hopefully there wouldn’t be any complicated processes to go through. Though something did tell her if she did end up working in a cafe, she wouldn’t do a good job at all…
